We will be hosting a contest for the most innovative start-ups affiliated within ZEN 24/7

and/or on Vancouver’s North Shore (West Vancouver and North Vancouver).

Applications for the Grizzly Den will be accepted between September and October 2016

Event Details

  • (Dragon’s Den-style -150 attendees, 5 judges, 10 finalists)

  • 15 Finalists will have 5 minutes each to present

Purity Aquafarms has a plan for urban farming and aquaculture to benefit local businesses and the community. Through the use of modern urban growing methods and producing only 100% organic and pesticide-free produce and seafood it can achieve environmentally friendly food production.

A Capilano business student was among 15 live pitches at the Grizzley Den to win the top prize for a unique rain hat design which she plans to commercialize within the next few years.
